PR socialmedia impact
It's possible that social media is an important element in reputation management - that people will think better of an organization (or person) engaged in social media. Many of my Institute for PR Measurement Commission colleagues are attempting to answer the question, "How important, actually, is it to be part of the conversation?" I don't feel like I have an answer - but the concept that authority and influence would stem more from popularity than from cogency gives me a little pause.
